What is Talenox Leave, and what does it do?

Talenox Leave is an online leave management module that lets your employees apply for time off, managers approve requests, and HR track leave balances and usage -- all in one cloud-based platform. It is pre-configured with statutory leave types for Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong, and can be customised for businesses in other countries.

Can employees apply for leave from their phone?

Yes. Talenox is fully cloud-based and works on any browser -- desktop, tablet, or smartphone. Employees can submit leave requests, view their balances, and see teammates' upcoming time off from wherever they are.

How do leave approvals work in Talenox?

When an employee submits a leave request, the designated approver receives an email notification and can approve or reject the request from within the system. You can configure multiple approvers and tiered approval levels to match your company's structure.

Does leave sync with payroll?

Yes. Approved leave automatically feeds into Talenox Payroll. Unpaid leave deductions, off-in-lieu adjustments, and leave encashment on resignation are all calculated and applied automatically in the relevant payroll batch.

Can I create custom leave types in addition to statutory ones?

Yes. On top of the built-in statutory leave types, you can create unlimited custom leave types -- such as birthday leave, volunteer leave, company anniversary leave, or study leave -- and assign them to specific employee groups using Talenox's Leave Grades feature.
