A new quarter, a few quiet but meaningful upgrades. Here’s what we shipped.

Pricing Update

We made some significant changes to our pricing structure at the start of this quarter: sunsetting the FREE plan and introducing new options built for where your business actually is, whether that’s a scrappy 3-person startup or a growing team of 200+.

Updates for our Singaporean friends! 

IR8A: Smarter Appendix 8A and 8B Generation

We’ve made it easier to generate and manage Appendix 8A and 8B forms directly within IR8A. No more hunting for them in a separate section next year!

Here’s how it works now:

• A button appears next to the relevant fields (field 7(i) for Appendix 8B, field 8 for Appendix 8A)
• If the form hasn’t been generated yet and the amount is more than $0, the button shows “Generate Appendix 8A/8B”
• Once the form exists, it switches to “View/Edit Appendix 8A/8B” (regardless of the amount)
• The button only shows in view mode, not while you’re editing
• Forms open in a new tab

Less clicking around. Everything where you’d expect it!

Now onto updates for our Malaysian ones!

Second EPF Export for Non-Malaysian Citizen Employees

If your company employs non-Malaysian citizens, there’s an important change to how EPF file exports work.

You can now set a separate Non-Malaysian Citizen Employee (NMCE) EPF No. under your company’s Payroll Details.

Once that’s set, running the EPF export under Month Total will produce two separate files :

•  One for Malaysian employees
• One for non-Malaysian citizen employees

This keeps your EPF submissions clean and compliant. No manual splitting required, yay!

Now time for some Global Updates (because we actually are global *wink*)

Turkish Lira (TRY) Now Supported

Turkish Lira is now available as a currency option in Talenox. If you’re paying employees in TRY, you can now set it directly in the system.
